This book is the first book in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. This book is about how a young hobbit named Frodo Baggins inherits the most powerful and evil weapon in Middle Earth. The One Ring. Frodo must leave his home and go on a dark and perilous journey that may cost him his life. He is hunted day and night by the Nazgul, or Ring-wraiths, who will stop at nothing to get the ring and bring it to its creator, Sauron. Frodo has the help of eight others who will share in his hopeless journey to Mordor to destroy the Ring.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and suspense. Right from the beginning you want to know what happens next and the suspense never stops. If you like realistic books then this is not the book for you.
