The Thomaston Public Library Board of Trustees,
in adherence with the Governor’s Guidelines,
has approved the following measures for safely
reopening the library for public use:
- Our online resources are available 24/7.
- For the safety of our staff and visitors,
EVERYONE is required to wear a face covering.
· Curbside Pickup: Please call the library to place
an order or visit our website.
· Outdoor book return is open 24/7. Please do not put donated books
in the book drop. We are not taking donations at this time.
· Fax and copying service.
· Public computer access by appointment only. Please call the
library for an appointment.
We are always happy to see our patrons, but in concordance with the Governor’s guidelines there will be a limited number of patrons allowed in the building at one time. Please plan for a short visit. We are asking that you limit your visit to 30 minutes. Please be prepared to wait in line to enter the building during our busiest hours.
If you are unable or unwilling to wear a face cover,
curbside pickup is available to all patrons.
During this gradual reopening the public bathrooms
will not be available for use.
All dates are subject to change and are based on
the State of Connecticut’s reopening plan.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
We are striving to make the library a safe and
welcoming place for everyone.
You must make an appointment to use the computers. We schedule 45 minute sessions on the hour. Please call and reserve a spot so we can guarantee you time.
