I read the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard.  4 teenage girls, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily, are brought back together after receiving notes about their past from a person named "A".  Their best friend, Alison, who was the leader of their group was murdered on the first day of summer after 7th grade.  They hadn't been friends, just since the beginning of 6th grade.  After the death of their best friend, they all fell out of contact.  The police had asked them many questions about the disappearance of Alison because they were all at Spencer's house for a sleepover that night.  The police find her body and call the case no longer a missing person investigation but a murder.  The girls are hiding one thing though, the truth about The Jenna Thing.

I liked this book a lot and I am reading the whole series.  There are 8 books, Pretty Little Liars, Flawless, Perfect, Unbelievable, Wicked, Killer, Heartless, and Wanted.  I really would suggest reading these books because it is both a mystery to find out secrets and who "A" is and shows how a person can have so much control over you because you tell them too many secrets.  Hope you find my review good and now want to read the books.  There is also the Pretty Little Liars series on ABC Family from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Review 2: Contributed by Cara G., grade 9

This book was amazing I could not but it down. I began watching the TV show that ABC Family has recently came out with and that got me hooked. So i decided to read the book and I was glad I did. It is teenage drama book/series. Alison, the lead of clique had gone missing 3 years ago, and ever since then the other 4 girls, Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer have grown apart. Aria moved to Iceland with her family, Hannah made a big transformation with herself, Spencer focused on her studies, and Emily has been off swimming. After 3 years Aria has come back from Iceland and that is when all four of the girls start getting texts, IMs, emails, and notes from an unknown someone named A. They all think its Alison but she's dead isn't she?

I don't want to ruin the book so you should go read it! I would recommend this book to fans of the Clique, but this book is ten times better than that. I would rate this book 5 stars*****
